Mr. Sweat argued that several hundred empty extract bottles found on and near his premises originally contained cock roach medicine.The detectives said a vigorous campaign was being made throughout the state against the sale of extracts, because the extract Was nothing but a deadly poison. They said they had several other places in Dillon under surveillance and were likely to return any time. They were assisted in making the raids by Sheriff Bethea, Deputy Stanton and Special officer R. L. White.
