They were tramps, to bo sure, but at the same time they were human beings and as dear to their families as any ol our boys are dear to us, and the carting away and dumping them in the potters’ field without any ceremony whatever is a burn-ing disgrace, and the Gazette n hopes it will never occur again. It would have been an easy matter to have invited some clergyman to have offered a prayer and given notice of the time of burial, so if am* one had desired they could have aliened if nothing more.
