SOUTHWEST — Several local residents were among those 288 longtime employees of Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation honored at a dinner held at Willowbrook Restaurant.B. B. Brownell, vice president of General Motors, and general manager of the division presented engraved gold watches as 25-year service awards to employees residing in 67 different communities in a 50-mile radius of the La Grange plant.Amont the recipients were: Frank J. Feipel, Jr., 425 Wellington Lane, Lemont; Raymond Georgia, 36 W. New Avenue and Louie Giacone, 140 Kingston Rd., also from Lemont.Joseph F. Zakar, 926 S. Wisconsin, New Lenox. Orville E. Kline, 15221 Kenton, Oak Forest.From Or land Park: Albert Lovrik,8649 W. 145th St.; Robert G. Stoutenour, 101st Avenue W. 159th St.Tinley Park residents awarded watches are: Albert J. Goetz, 7616 W. 159th PL; Raymond A. Hopkins, 16932 S. Riverside Dr., and Fred W. Stargrant, 16401 Patricia.
