Funeral services for Mrs. Viola (Ola) Smith, 78, wife of James W. Smith of Sabina, who died Satur day at 4:30 a m., were held Mon day at Littleton Funeral Home. She had been in failing health for several years and was seriously ill for eight months. Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 26, 1878, near Sabina, the daughter of William F. and Alice Bonecutter Allen. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Pearl Wil son of Springfield; a step-daugh ter, Mrs. Ter Merritt of Washing ton D. H.; a step-son, Earl Smith of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Harry G Burris and Mrs. John Wilson, and one brother, Charles Allen, all of Sabina. Rev. Richard P. Davison was in charge of the service. Rev. Richard P. Davison offered prayer, gave the message, read the 23rd Psalm and the memoir, which had been prepared by Ron ald Merritt. Walter Shoop, at the organ, played accompaniment for Mr. Merritt, who sang “Abide with Me” and “Come Ye Disconsolate.” Pallbearers were William Allen, John Dailey, Clarence Bock, Char les Allen Jr., Robert Smith and Raymond Wilson and interment
