On Thursday evening, November 1, at the S.T. Watson home, Mrs. Watson, Mrs. J. F. Bullard, and Mrs. J.B. McFerran were co-hostesses to the members of the Esther Sunday school class for their monthly busi ness and social meeting. The class members took this oc casion to honor Mrs. Wilburn 45, Smith with a surprise handkerchief shower. Mrs. Smith, who is moving away from Freeport, has been quite active in church work during the time that she has resided here. She will be greatly missed by a score of friends. Cookies and coffee or tea were served to Mesdames E. K. Forbes, C. W. Gilcrease, R. O. Hargrove, M. F. Handley, Tom ‘aygood, D. A. Ross, D. E. Burnett, T. G. Coker, W. A. Smith, W. L. Miller, 0. L. Epps, A. Day, Hoyle Reed, J. A. Simmons, Maxine dorgenson, J. E. Richardson, W. E. Sims, D. E. Richards, Adell McGaughey, Ben Braly, and the honoree, by the hostesses. All pre sent were David and Barbara Mc Ferran, Carol Jorgenson, Truett and Oliver Watson.
