The meeting of the Panama City Grammar school Parent-Teachers association proved to be one of the most instructive and interesting meetings of the year, yesterday af ternoon, with Mrs. William Cooper in the chair. The meeting was opened by the group repeating the Lord’s prayer in unison. The president stressed the need of library books, with each mem ber being urged to bring at least one book as a donation to the l brary. The P. T. A. requested Prin cipal Harrison to order some very necessary books. To Sponsor Booth The P. T. A. will sponsor a home made candy sale in an especially arranged booth at the Bay county fair which will be held next week. It is sincerely hoped that the pat rons and friends will avail them selves of purchasing this delicious candy, and at the same time help the organization in order that their excellent projects may be more ably advanced. A splendid talk on “Economic and Political Citizenship” was made by Philip A. Roll, member of the Bay county bar association. The count for attendance with rooms represented resulted in a tie between Mrs. Everett and Mrs. Fay.
