Manager Ross of the new Bos ton Professional team in his re cent scouting tour in Canada has succeeded in rounding up a strong bunch of expert stick’ handlers who will be on the payroll this season, and some lively contests may be looked for in_the Arena. From the Canadian profession als Manager Ross has signed up Bob Rowe, the well known de fense player and captain of the Seattle team of the Pacific Coast last year; Norman Fowler, in goal; Will Harts, forward; Skinner, forward of defense; Jack Hearley of Saskatoon, defense. From the amateurs, Boston gets Carson Cooper of the Hamil ton Tigers, and from the same team are Redding, a star defense man, and M Herberts, forward; Werner Schnarr, who was on the Philadelphia team four years ago; Hill and Galbraith, forwards of the Eveleth, Minn., team have signed on.
