MONTCLAIR Mrs. Malinda Mendenhall visited her niece, Mrs. Ed. Wright, of North Salem, Tuesday and Wednesday. Gerrald Jones and wife, of North Salem, spent Sunday afternoon with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Jones and sister, Miss Eva. Clay Kennedy is not so well at this time while Chas. Mitchell remains about the same. The “I Can” class met with Miss Eva Jonas, Thursday. Fletcher Musgrave received word, Friday morning of the death of his brother-in-law, Luther Tinley, at Huets ville, who was killed by a hugh rock falling while at work. The “Community Helpers” class met wit Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tharp. Tues day evening. Friday evening, Nov. 16, an auction sale will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brumfield, south of town. Eats of all kinds will be served. Proceeds to go for benefit of church. Everyone invited. Tuesday evening, Nov. 27, a series of meetings, will begin at the church at this place. Rev. McDaniel, pastor. Ediie Bemish, of New Ross, will lead the song services. Joseph Warrick living east of town thought a thief might be in his chic kens. On investigation he found it to be a very fine star skunk which he caught. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hendricks spent Sunday with J. M. Gentry. Mrs. Malinda Mendenhall received word Monday morning of the sudden death of her sister, Mrs. Nan Hunt at the home of her son Ote Hunt at Coatesville. She went at once to Coatesville, and Mrs. Elmer Menz, Regina Myers and John Stark, of Indianapolis, were Sunday dinner guests of H. G. Lamb and wife.
