In ConstantinopleA L Baugh received -ord from his son, Homer, who is in Constantinople Turkey,that they had a wonderful trip over there. They only had one accident, a man died on the ship, they held a military funeral then they sent him ashore to be sent back to the states They only had ons bad day; he said that sure was rough, most everybody was sea sick especially the bunch they got at the training station.He is just five thousand miles from New York. They are just a little ways from the Sultan’s Palace. He said there were American, English, French, Spanish, Greek and Turkish sail ors and all kinds of ships. They stopped at Gibraltar for stores and oil and it took them six days from there to Constantinople, Turkey.• __
