The United Daughters of the Confederacy met in their eighth annual convention yesterday at 10:30 o’clock at the Y. M. C. A. auditorium. The attendance included delegates from all over the south and from many northern states. The hall was packed with visitors, and those who looked in on the ■convention saw the most representative body of southern women that was ever seen in Wilmington.
