The recent killing of colored Republicans jn the several southern states by Democratic bulldozers, is an indication that the southern Democracy is growing weary of carrying elections by use of tissue ballots, and is about to resort to the old and trusty shot gun method. Stuffing ballot boxes is not exciting enough for our southern brother. The average white league Democrat doesn't enjoy a political campaign unless he can bulldoze and murder a few southern Republicans. The Ku- kiux Democracy of the Bouth understand, from long practice, that the best way to keep the colored people from voting is to get up a row and kill a dozen or so a few days before the •lection. The recent negro killings in Texas, (Borgia and Virginia look like a* vor ;lic. iJxuoJ bulldozers' work of 1875 and 1876.
