Another Horrible Mcrder.—A difficulty took place about 10 o'clock yesterday morning in the forecastle of the storeship Kdwin, between two Chilenos, named Jose Contreras and Antonio Kxe-nuier. Antonio went on deck to go home, lie was followed by Jose, attacked with a knife and almost cut to pieses. The murderer, to make sure his work, drove the knife into his victim ten times, indicting three wounds in the right arm; one under each shoulder blade; om in the left side, penetrating to the heart; one ir. the back of the neck, almost severing the spine / one on the right hip ; and two ou the right leg. The murdered man expired in a few moments, und the murderer fled, but was discovered in a dark corner— was seized and threw his bloody knife overboard. He was brought into the Recorder's Court yesterday morning with his shirt still spotted with blood. His first remark, on being caught, and befora any charge was made against him was, li 1 did not doit.” He is a burly, black-looking, heavy-browed, sullen ruffian, whom all would shun in a secluded spot. Justico Shopheard held an inquest on the body in the course of the morning, and the jury returned a verdict of wilful murder against Contreras.—*9. F. Herald.
