Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Epsi lon Sigma Alpha Sorority hosted a Halloween Party Oct. 28 in the home of Phyllis McCutchan for this year’s rushees. Members in attendance were Emeline Baxter, Shirlene Davis, Yolanda Dechert, Harriet Malott, Robbie Massey, Carleen Massey, Sheila Massey, Phoebe Neal, Hallie Sanders, Connie Saucedo, Aretha Tallon and Frankie Weck worth. The sorority’s guests included ISherrill Aston, Billie Dolan, Betty Dunlap, Gayle Haldeman, Dar lene Kelley, Calista Kerr, Thyra Saucedo, Trish Weaver, Linda Cantwell, Georgia Williams, Linda Kuenstler, and Carol Wells. On Nov. 11, the same rustees were invited to attend the monthly business meeting in the home of Harriet Malott. President Phoebe Neal pres ided over the meeting. The agenda covered many topics, mainly money raising projects which support the Chapter’s local, state, and national philanthropic endeavors. Some of these projects include: a Rummage Sale to be held Nov. 15; a turkey and a tur quoise choker to be raffled on Nov. 22 and Dec. 15, respectively; and a donkey basketball game. Hazel Amis and Phyllis McCutchan presented the even ing’s program for the rushees. Hazel delivered a historical brief on ESA and Phyllis gave an expla nation of the by-laws. One out of every six French men lives in or around Paris. Two out of three inhabit towns and urban areas.
