Country Club Council Honors Local Women7 Mrs. W. J. Green and Mrs. D. Foster were given special awards last Friday in recognition of their work the past year at the annual meeting of the Benton County Council of Home Demonstration Clubs. Mrs. Green of the W. H. O. club was awarded a pressure } cooker as first prize in the garden contest Mrs. Foster of Bozarth Neighborly club won first prize, a' fountain pen, for the best secretary’s book. Ei Thompson of Little Rock spoke in the afternoon on “The Extension Program and Objectives.” Congressman Clyde T, -Ellis talked on The Development of Home Culture Through Increased Income.”The Fclker club presented an original play and their-quartet sang “Log Cabin at the End of the Lane.Miss Mart ha Patton; assistant home demonstration agent, was introduced. She- will temporarily x'eplace Mrs. Dickerson who has gone north to demonstrate mattress making.-4 Officers • were . elected as follows; Mrs. Jim McNeil, Lowell, president; Mrs. Rose Sweeney, Bentonville, vice president; Mrs. W.
