MORGAN COUNTY HOSPITALMartinsville Reporter: The county commissioners met the latter part of last week and accepted the hospital which J. W. Hussey offered to give the county providing; the county would agree to maintain it. In the. election Tuesday the voters expressed their desires in the matter by giving a majority of .*1.000 for the hospital, hence the vote was clinched by the commissioners entering an order accepting the same. The handsome residence property formerly owned by W. H. Patton, was purchased of Mr. Patton by Mr. Hussey early this year with a view to giving the hospital to the county as a memorial to his son, Jack, who lost his life some months ago when he was fatally injured by a motor truck.The hospital will be equipped by contributions from individuals, societies and lodges. Mr. Hussey had already been given many pledges to aid in equipping the hospital.
