No other part of the carcass from which it was taken could be found. Inspector Langslow was unable to find Mr. Mousolf up to a late hour yesterday.Mr. Mousolf two weeks ago appliedto the * city council for a permit to slaughter animals on his premises. The privilege was granted, subject to approval by the board of health. Commissioner Robinson states that such approval was never given, and the investigation-of Sunday was ordered for the purpose of ascertainingthe conditions. A halt has been calleduntil further facts can be obtained. Inspector Robinson insists that the liver was infested with tuberculosis.When Mr. Mousolf filed his application with the council to slaughter beef he asked for a permit to peddle fresh meats from a wagon, .offering to pay a license of $10 per month. . -
