Marram, of Jackson, against whose life numerous plots are said to have been directed, is in Lexington, en route to Fran fort to argue a case before the court of apjieals. In fear of assassination he left his home by the rear door just before train time, ac ootnpenied by his two sisteers and his wife, and proceeded to the dejiot by a cirpuitous route.Marcum is a trustee for the State college,attorney for the Louisville and fivansville railroad, United States commissioner in bis district and attorney for several eastern Kentucky corporations. Until today he had not left his house but twice since June. Within the last few days he has been afrnnl to leave his room, he says, having been warned by a friend that two men had been stationed in a house oomtuanding a view of his poroh and were to shoot him when he followed nis custom of sitting on the porch.
