A GREWSOME COINCIDENCE.*_John McAtee the Last of a Quartetteto Commit Suicide.Louisville, Ky., Nov. 11.—Mrs. Julia Long, the mother of John McAtee, the Kansas City Southern clerk who is reported to have committed suicide in Kansas City Sunday because of an accusation of attempted robbery, rejects the story of theft as the motive. She says John McAtee is an only son and could have had financial assistance had he asked for it.A grewsome coincidence comes to light in connection with the death of McAtee. When he was a young man he was intimate with three other well known young men—Irvin Gillis, Dudley Reynolds and Will Coker. Each of these men has since died by his own hand and McAtee is the last of the quartette to take his life.
