Of the Carriage and Wagonmakers’ Be nevolent, Association at Turner. Muir Last Night. Last night,at ‘Turner hall'the Carriage and Wagonmakers’ Benevolent’ Associa tion gave its eleventh annual ball. — The hall was brilliantly lighted and here was a fair-sized crowd in attend ance.» About seventy-five couple took part in the grand match, which was. led, by Me. Wall ‘Baker and Miss Anna Wal ford. It took place about 9:30 o'clock. Following ‘the’ grand, “match came a waltz, which was followed’ by. quadrilles, schottische, oxford minuet, newport, etc. About. smidnight an’ Intermission. was given, ‘There were twenty- two numbers on the program, which closed ‘with the. “Home, Sweet Home”. waltz. Itsvas a o’glock this morning, before the dancing ceased. All who were ‘there seemed to enjoy themselves and nave nice: time. ‘The committees who had charge ‘of Wie affair were as follows: Committee of Arrangements—Wert Bush, Casper Dittmeyer, John Sweet ring, Jo R. Currier and Aug. Niekamp, Reception Committee—Geo. L. Benz, C. W. Dunn,’ G. We. Vandenboom, W. H. Hoffinian and George Treibel. Floor Managers— Wil Baker, Chris Englehart, Otto Keck, Frank Bush, J. Kusa and‘ Andrew Sheridan. ‘They had much to do ‘with making the ‘ball a success.
