The ministers present were the Rev. J. W. White, of Menomonie, Rev. H. R. Vaughn, of Eau Claire, Rev. G. H. Marsh, Osseo, Rev. H. W. Cater, Beloit and Rev. A. Kidder, of Eau Claire. Delegations from Menomonie and Eau Claire Congregational churches were present.The council was organized by the election of Rev. A. Kidder as moderator, and Rev. G. H. Marsh as scribe. The organization was then proceeded with and twenty-two presented themselves as ready to join the organization. The credentials of the eandi dates were examined, and those who -wero—to—jotn—on - confession—were' questioned as to their religious experience, and all were approved as suitable persons to compose a Congregational church. Rev. A.’ Kidder read the confession of faith and covenant, baptised those who had not previously received the ordinance and in behalf of the council gave them the right hand of fellowship as membrs in the Congregational brotherhood.Rev. H. W. Carter, of Beloit, missionary secretary of the state, by an appropriate, address welcomed them unto the brotherhood of the churches of the state—all but three were heads of families about one-half joining by confession.On Sunday, Nov.
