APPROVED WAS THE EXPENDITURE of $10,330 for materials and the installation of a thunderbolt siren at 173rd street and Kedzie avenue. The Illinois Civil Defense agency had this bid before it when it approved Hazel Crest’s application for the siren. Commodore Electric of Chicagowas the successful bidder.
