Bentz, 22, was reported in fair condition and Daphne R. Eshom, 38, 1313 E. 3rd St., in fairly good condition this morning at Olympic Memorial Hospital following a two-car accident at the intersection of Carlsborg Junction and Highway 101 Monday night.Russell J. Eshom, 12, was treated for mouth and chin cuts and released.The Washington State Patrol said the 1959 vehicle driven by Bentz was northbound on Hooker Road and collidedwith a 1967 auto driven by Mrs. Eshom. Both vehicles were totaled.The Bentz vehicle rolled over, striking a Clallam County Public Unitity District meter pole, and came to rest on its left side, the State Patrol said.The auto driven by Mrs. Eshom sheared off a signpost at the intersection. The driver was thrown from the vehicle, the State Patrol said.Bentz received head lacerations, body abrasions and possible internal injuries in the accident. Mrs. Eshom sustained head lacerations, body abrasions and complained of chest pains, the State Patrol said.
