A bridal tea shower honored Miss Carolyn Jo Pearce, bride elect of Don Searcy at the home of Mrs. Alphonso Myers on Rowlett Road. Mrs. Myers was assisted in entertaining by her daughters, Mrs. Dwain Heath and Mrs. Don Hollens head. Guests were greeted by Mrs. Myers and in the receiving line with the honoree were her mother, Mrs. Bobby Tom Pearce and her finance’s moth er, Mrs. Harriet Webb. Mrs. Heath, Mrs. Hollenshead and Miss Carolyn Jones pre sided at the tea table. Decorations featured mums in autumn hues accented with gold metallic ribbons carry ing out the honoree’s chosen colors of orange and metallic gold. A centerpiece of golden mums decorated the tea table flanked by white tapers. Ar rangements of mums in fall shades and golden candlesticks holding orange tapers were al so the focal point of interest for decorations in the den, Miss Pearce and Mr. Searcy are planning a December 3 ceremony at Eastern Hills Bap tist Church.
