C. M. PUCKETT SULPHUR — (Special) Charley M. Puckett, 61, 1702 West Broadway, longtime state resi dent, died Wednesday morning in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was a carpenter and came to Sulphur seven years ago from California. However, he had spent most of his life in Western Okla homa. Mr. Puckett was born April 7, 1899 in Grady County. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He leaves the wife, Mrs. Essie Puckett, a daughter, Mrs. Jewel Stanley, Los Angels, Calif.; two sons, T. C. Puckett, Sulphur; and J. W. Puckett, Burbank, Calif. a brother, John Puckett, Sul phur; two sisters, Lilly Cole, Van Nuys, Calif.; and Annie Mangum, Panhandle, Tex.; eight grand children and several great grand children. Services were at 10 a. m. Sat urday in the Vinita Church of Christ. Mr. Kermit Upshaw, minister, officiated. Burial was in Rock Cemetery, Granite. Dunn Funeral Home was in charge of the services.
