Funeral services for Gene Har old Wilkins, 37, were conducted at 4:00 p. m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Everett S. Martin, assisted by Rev. Ann Jones of Notrees, officiated Wilkins’ body was found in his car on a dirt road between Kermit and Wink Monday even ing. An inquest revealed that he had died of carbon monoxide poisoning. The body was taken to the Maple Funeral Home in Kermit. Wilkins had lived in this vic inity for the past several years. He was employed by the Super ior Oil Company until about six weeks ago. He formerly operated the Steak House and the Fran kel City Cafe. Survivors include two child ren, Ronald, 14, a freshman in the local high school, and a 4- year old daughter, Janet; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Wilkins of San Franando, Cali fornia; 3 brothers, Stanley, Los Angeles, Calif, Bob, Glendale, Calif, and Russell of Freeport; and one sister, Mrs. M. H. Wil liams of Wichita Falls. Interment was in the Andrews County cemetery. Pall bearers were C. D. Smith, Dick Underwood, John Carrigan, Jack Sawyer, Bob Wright, and John Thrasher.
