Buckeye’s Conglomerations. New moon brought change of weather. Everybody is getting ready for winter now. Something happened to most of the conglomerations last week. Ask the editor about the last ones. Mr. and Mrs. Will Bellman returned home from their Kansas City trip Fri day evening. Mr. Grove Miller, who has been working for Will Gosser the past few months returned to his home in Law rence, last week. Roy Hostley seems to visit Buckeye quite often, but he says he always did like “‘schoolma'ms. Hans says to bring your lads and lassies over to his house and have a party. That is the kind of talk we l ike to hear. Where is the entertain ment committee? Several from Buckeye attended the Easy Bee camp of R. N. of A. Friday evening. ‘Mr. and Mrs. Will Hall formerly of Buckeye are the proud parents ? #/ baby girl- Ed Albert says he has 2 good receipt | for making biscuits. He will give the receipt and a sample to whoever wants one, for they keep well. We hear the committee was been doing some secret planning, we'll tell about it later, Mrs. Chas. Gosser and daughter Lula were shopping in Saline Saturday , Mr. William Griggs who has been working in Buckeye for some time Mr. Crissman and Alvin Feilers went west to bring home their cattle the irst of the week. in Buckeye laid up the past week on account of waiting for repairs. Mr. Andrew Maska made a Lying trip to Luray the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Montgomery spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ob ley. ‘ness trip to the Saline, Friday. Mrs. Fio Miller, Ruby and Nellie Gosser spent Saturday at Mrs. D. Gos ser. Mrs. Herman Davis who had been spending the past few weeks with her parents Mr. ‘and Mrs. Ball returned to her home on the Saline, Sunday, Mr. Lou Emerson who has been j stopping at Payne's during the summer left for Calif., Sunday. _ Mr. and Mrs. Will Truan of Wa- Keeney paid a visit to their old home f rom Buckeye Tuesday. Any one wanting any clothes dyed call on lows Thomas. She said she would “die” for anybody. Ab Sykes threshed for Obley and D. Gosser the last of the week. Jake Maska's little boy who was hurt some time ago is not improving very rapidly. Alfa Barnes had the misfortune to lose a tire of his wagon wheel going home from town, but he was rather fortunate after all as it happened near a farm house and he got to talk to the ills Dr. Young, of Ellis, was called to Dr Gosser Tuesday night to doctor a sick horse but it died before he arrived. ‘That makes the sixth one he has out. ITEMS FROM LAST WEEK. Chet Montgomery took a flying trip to Russell last week, to look over the interest of Mr. John O'Laughlin’s wheat. .. We hear that Mr. and Mrs. Saunder’s intend to buy a new victrola for their parlor. Mrs. Albert spent Saturday and Sunday at her country home putting up grapes, tight Jake but be sure she's a good cook. Several enjoyed the evening going home from the Halloween party, _ the crowd seemed to be quite happy. Mr. and Mr. G. B. Miller took their meals away from home Sunday as dinner at Chas. Gaseer and supper at Dora Gasser's. Quite a joke was played Saturday s evening but all concerned seemed to enjoy the joke so it was alright. Notice: If some people don’t stop pasturing other people's wheat at night, some morning they will have to pay for their trespassing. Mrs. Will Bellman spent a few days in Kansas City the past week. Iowa Thomas is working for Mrs. Alvin Fellers for a week or so. Wonder what makes Allender so quiet here of fate. Has he lost his best friends. Frank Wayne Jr. and lady friend went pleasure riding to Collyer Sun day afternoon. Big Bill said he wouldn’t have missed the party Saturday night for anything because it was the first time he wore a whole new =ut and he enjoyed being all dressed up. Hans Jensen has finished threshing now. Dore Gosser with his chaffeur drove around the country Sunday to find someone to finish threshing. The Episcopals held services at Sil verdale Sunday. Mrs. Christofferson, of the Madden Yash and Mr. Jim Peterson and family visited at Alvin Fellers Sunday. Andrew Masks made a flying trip to Haye Sunday evening. Wonder if he will get the habit. Chas. Hawks was a caller at Den ning’s Monday. Ed Crenshaw was finished digging his crop of potatoes. Eyes and Ears.
