Mrs. Mahala Timmons.Mahala Sarah Leighty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs George Leighty, was b.»rn August 22, 1857 in Shelby township, Tippecanoe county. •She grew to young womanhood in this vicinity and was married in April, 1872 to Nathan A. Timmons.1 Nine children were born to this union, seven of whom survive: C. YV, Timmons of Wolcott, Mrs, Lyle Fisher, Mrs. Jesse McKinney, Ira, Euri, Ruby and Learning Timmons of Otfcerbeiu.
