Mrs. Mahala Timmons.Mahala Sarah Leighty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs George Leighty, was b.»rn August 22, 1857 in Shelby township, Tippecanoe county. •She grew to young womanhood in this vicinity and was married in April, 1872 to Nathan A. Timmons.1 Nine children were born to this union, seven of whom survive: C. YV, Timmons of Wolcott, Mrs, Lyle Fisher, Mrs. Jesse McKinney, Ira, Euri, Ruby and Learning Timmons of Otfcerbeiu. She was a member of Olive Lodge, Daughters of Rebek-ah«Funeral services were conducted from the family residence this!iafternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. W B. Taylor officiating. Interment was: made in Pond Grove cemetery, the services in charge of the Rebekahs.
