JOLLY LEE DROPS DEAD.Heavy Weight Exhibited By Cosmopolitan Carnival Company Died Thursday Morning—Body to Be Embalmed.f afrLee Trickey, better known under his widely advertised show name of j* “Jolly Lee,” died Thursday morning 1 about 3 o’clock, after several hours of severe suffering from inflammatory rheumatism, which is supposed to ^ have affected his heart. *Trickey was advertised as weighing 0 619 pounds and the doctor who waited upon him says he must have exceeded 500. He was the biggest man in the world, surpassing Joe Grimes, who died in Cincinnati three weeks ago.Trickey was not over five feet ten inches in height and his limbs below the knees were very small, so that he could barnly stand alone. When getting out of the car Monday he suffered a sprained ankle.The deceased was 32 years old and had been with the Cosmopolitan Carnival Company six weeks. He was very heavy from youth, was married but leaves no family. The body will probably be embalmed, awaiting instructions from his borne, Hammond, Wisconsin, to which point the remains will be shipped.
