Wo are informed by a note from Hal-bur that it is is being reported that Anton Hoelker is responsible for the information filed against Obas. Waltersoheid, druggist, of Halbur. This is untrue. Mr. Hoelker never knew that such an information had been filed until a warrant was served, this our readers can rely upon, Mr. Walterscheid was arrested and taken to Council Bluffs several days ago, and upon being arraigned before a United States Commissioner, waived examination and was bound over to appear before the United States grand jury. He has been in the drug trade at Halbur some years, and has no enemies that we ever heard of, and if he is innocent of the charge of dealing in liquors without a government license, there will be no doubt of his discharge without costs.
