Clyde TorainClyde Torain, 73, of 1303 Buff St., Greensboro, died Wednesday in Moses Cone HospitalA native of Orange County, he was married to Mrs. Rosa Belle Torain. He was a son of the late David and Pearl Torain.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Otis Hairston, pastor. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.Surviving in addition to his widow are four daughters, Mrs Cora Hester, Mrs. Evangeline Dixon, Mrs Mary Bradsher, all of Greensboro, and Mrs. Nannie Robertson of Burlington; two sons. William Torain of Sedlia and Roosevelt Torain of Greensboro; two step-daughters. Mrs. Richardean Haith of Greensboro and Mrs. Dorothy White of Chicago, 111.; six sisters, Mrs. Ruth Torain of New York, Mrs. Catherine Boles of Beverly Hills, Calif., Mrs. Loraine Hairston, Mrs. Aleas Richmond, Mrs. Sophia McCanley and Mrs. Glossie Graves, all of Burlington; two brothers, Otha Torain of Cedar Grove and Moses Torain of Burlington; 36 grandchildren; and sevengreat-grandchildren.Hargett Funeral Home in Greensboro in charge of arrangements.
