Mrs. Nessie C. Glover of Man hattan and Frank E. Davis of Denton were quietly married in the Episcopal church in Bozeman by the Rev. Donald Skinner. At tending the bride was her daugh ter, Mrs. H. B. Chambers and her two small granddaughters, Louise and Dianne. Mr. Chambers attended the groom. The bride has been in business in Denton for a few years and the bride groom is a businessman there. Mr. and Mrs. Davis left for Ther mopolis, Wyo., to visit the bride's son, Cecil Glover, and will also go to San Diego, Calif., before going to Arizona to spend the winter. In honor of the 79th birthday anniversary of Mrs. Anna Wa ters, her daughter, Mrs. Steve McDonnell, her granddaughter, Mrs. Jack Scully, and Miss Buena Belle Vetter entertained at an evening party at the Waters home. Guests included Mrs. Wa ters’ children, James P. Waters, Cecil A. Waters, Mrs. Joe Mc Quillan, Mrs. McDonnell, Mrs. Mildred Stanchfield, and their families, and Mrs. Edna Harris, Mrs. H. W. Becker, Mrs. Lelia Heyl, Miss Katherine Armstrong of Ennis, Mrs. Julie Bryson and Henry McDonnell. Mrs. Dick South and her daugh ter, Charlotte Ann, arrived from Ellensburg, Wash., to visit Mr. and Mrs. W. H. South and their family. They left Wednesday for Chicago to meet Mr. South. They will reside at Lake Geneva, Wis. Dick has accepted a posi tion with the National Canners association as sales manager. Walen (Buddy) Lilly has fin ished a year’s training in the navy V-12 at the School of Mines in Butte and after a brief visit with his parents left for Fort Schuyler, N. Y., for training as midshipman. Paul Campin, a former resi dent of this section but now residing in Missouri, has been visiting friends here. This is his first visit here in more than 20 years. Mr. and Mrs. Ray O'Donnell are parents of a son, born Mon day in the Deaconess hospital in Bozeman. The mother is the former Mildred Robertson of Manhattan. She has been here with her parents since her hus band has been in the service.
