rrFELL DUD IT TOPEKAUri Bowman Was Just Starting for his Home With a Load of CoalLevi Bowman, aged 70 yeata, fell dead yeaterday morning at 9:30 o'clock in Seagley’a coal office at Topeka. Mr Bowman, who reaided on a farm a mile, and a half aoath of Topeka, had drivOT to town for a load of coal and bad juat loaded it from the ear. He went into the office and immediately tank dohm, Mr. Seagiey tried to lift him op and found him helpleaa. Dr. Vaughn wai summoned but be{pre he arrived Mr. Bowman was dead. Coroner Caton waa summoned and held an inquest, his verdict being that death waa due to heart trouble.Mr. Bowman was a prominent farmer of Perry township, Noble county, where he bad resided all of his life. He is survived by his wife and three, daughters: Mrs. Anson Smith, north of LaGrange; Mrs. Ralph Smith of Topeka and Mrs. Cecil Phillips, who is at home. There are also three brothers: Jaeob sad David of Topeka, and Amos, who teetfc* between Topeka and La-Grange. Hr waa a member of the Baptldt church in Topeka, as are the other msmbefs of his family.. Funeral Th«Mi£ at 2 o’clock p, m. Rev. T. 3. MaWhorter of Wolcottville, officiating. Interment In Maple Grove cemetery.
