Daring the Civil War she showed her patriotism by raising supplies and helping in any and every way the Ladies Aid, never tiring in the work.On May 5, 1865, she was married to R. W. Jonesof Brimfleld. After a fesv months of travel they settled in Galva where Mr. Jones was engaged in the lumber business, he built the home in which she lived forty-seven years almost to the day.She was the mother of seven children, three of whom preceded her to the better world, Mrs. Nettie Emery, Gayer and Louise. Left to mourntheir loss are the husband and Almoo E. of Galva, Paul R of Pomona, Cali., Elizabeth and Ernest In the home, also five grand children and her only brother George C. Guyer of Peoria, 111.
