Greek TrofcBsor In JaU,New York, Nov. li.—Teleraaque Timyenis, at one time professor of Greek in Harvard university and whoj wrote the “History of Greece from the«j Time of Homer” and other books, j through the publication of which he 1 gamed general attention, is in trouble ; and an inmate of Ludlow street jail, Ee was arrested to-day at his office, 48 University place. A man named Ramsey is said to he the complainant and tohave brought sait for $4,000. As j Timayenis failed to furnish the required $2,000 bail he was locked up.
