Lee Laaveg officiating.Casket bearers were Arlin Danielson; Harold'Sunde, Merrill S,uncle, Wayne S-unde, Gleri Sunde, James Sunde, Verlyn Sunde and Joel Sunde.Interment was in Madison Township Cemetery, Forest City.Born August 9, 1903, in Ellington Township, Hancock County, Iowa, Effie was the daughter of Carl Fredrick and Marie (Tauber) Chisel. She was baptized in the Methodist Church, Garner, and confirmed in the first adult confirmation class at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Forest City.She attended country school in Ellington Township and grade school in Miller. In 1918 the Sunde her family moved to Forest City and Effie attended Forest City High School graduating in 1922. In 1921 she took a com-merciaj course at Waldorf College while attending high school Following graduation she was employed at the First National Bank.July 21, 1926, she was married to Carl T. Sunde atEFFSE SUNDEImmanuel Lutheran parsonage, Forest City. Following their marriage they made their home in Forest City. They moved to Woden in 1930 and in 1935 the family moved to Thompson. While in Thompson Effie was a member of the Thompson Study Club and the O. E. S.
