Dr. Paul Trier, 61, fatal heart attackServices for Dr. Paul Trier, 61, of 6880 N.W. Beaver Dr.. were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at Dunn’s Funeral Home on Grand. Dr. Trier died Friday, Nov. 5, at Veterans Hospital of a heart ailment. The body was cremated.Dr. Trier, who was born in Fon du Lac, Wis., was chief of radiology at Veterans Hospital. He had lived in Des Moines and Johnston for the past 26 years. He was a member of the Radiology Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Forum Study Club, Iowa Radiology Society and a past member of the Polk County Medical Society.Survivors includes his wife, Ida; two daughters, Mrs. Jane Paulsen of Des Moines and Mrs. Frances Ahrenholtz of Defiance; a son, John; two brothers, Richard and Victor, both of Fond du Lac, and two grandchildren.
