Notre Dame drove 74 yards in Six plays in the first period to open the scoring Quarterback. George Yencho went the final 57 yards as he shook off at least five Royal tacklers. On the final play of the first period the Royals Failed to pick up a first down on the ND 49. On the next play Yeneho and Lou Blatnik teamed for a S1-yard touchdown pass. Blatnik made the catch on the Plus 46 and raced the remaining distance untouched. There was no further scoring until the final play of the final period when Blatnik stashed four yards.
