INTERESTS PIECE OF WORKEd Howard Hays county's veteran house mover, reports a ratherunusual house moving—the Science Hall old public school building, 20 by 58 feet and 23 feet high.Howard moved the houBe perhaps seven miles—from its location in the Science Hall community to and thru Buda. across Onion creek, west of Buda, and on the hill, perhaps a mile across the creek. It is to be used for a colored schoolHoward says he remembers when he went to school in the old house, when he was a small bov, about eight years old, more than 50 years ago. A number of others who live around Kyle and Buda,sand elsewhere, also rememberattending scho 1 in that oldhouse. In those days Science Hall was a town—post office, store and blacksmith shlt; p. all doing a thriving business. And now there is no schoool even.
