Mrs. J. M. Smith. Mrs. Jessie Marsh Smith, wife of Samuel R. Smith, died Wednesday at the family home on Bay avenue and O'Donnell street, in Oakdale, after a long illness. She was a resident of Mobile for eighteen years and was an active worker for the Baptist church. Her husband one son, Marvin G. Smith, two daughters, Mrs. F. G. Carey and Miss Clara B. Smith, of Mobile, besides other relatives survive her. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon from the Oakdale Baptist church and the burial was in Pine Crest cem etery. Cruxton Morrow. Cruxton Morrow, aged 16, a resident of Neshota, Mobile county, died Wed nesday night at a local infirmary, fol lowing an operation for appendicitis. He attended Leinkauf school. He is survived by his parents, Rev. and Mrs. J. T. Morrow, of Neshota, and other relatives. Burial of a Child. John B. Sanchez, Jr., child of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Sanchez, of Whistler, was buried Wednesday in the Catholic cemetery. The funeral was from the home of his parents in Whistler and from St. Bridget’s Catholic church, Rev. Father Genet officiating. Burial of H. Y. Mountain. Rev. A. G. Richards, rector of Trin ity Episcopal church, conducted the service at the funeral of Hardway Y. Mountain, held Wednesday from his late home, 210 Congress street. The burial was in Magnolia cemetery and many beautiful floral designs were placed on the grave. The pallbearers were Messrs. W. W. Coor, Hugh Pitard, James Reding, George B. McKnight, W. W. Rafield and J. M. Forbes.
