The marriage of Miss JHilen M. Sheehan of this town to John J. Sul livan of Boston took place at 2.30 this afternoon at St. Bernard’s church in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Rev. Mortimer E. Twomey was the officiating clergy man. Miss Eleanor Sheehan of Haverhill was maid of honor and Maurice Sulli van of Boston was best man. The bride was dressed in a gown of French armore with trimmings of veg etable fibre and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of white peau de soie with lace trimmings and also carried a bouquet of roses. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Sheehan, from 3 to 6, a large number of friends taking advantage of the opportunity to extend their best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan. At 8 o'clock this eve ning a supper will be served to about 50 friends and relatives, after which Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan will leave on a brief wedding trip. On their return they will reside at 779 Parker st., Roxbury. Wedding music for the ceremony was furnished by Miss Katie Gleason. The ushers at the church were Jere miah B. Sheehan of Boston, Dennis A. Sheehan of Cambridge, David and Edward Sheehan of Concord, Edward Sullivan and Mr. Finn of Boston. Mr. Sullivan is a well known real estate man of Boston and Mrs. Sulli van has for a long time been employed at the local post office, where she has made many warm friends.
