Cutnpston. who was appointed a commissioner to confer with Patapsco Presbytery concerning a joint application of the two Presbv erie of Rappahannock and Patap-seo. to the Synod of Virginia for an union of said two Presbyteries reported that he had performed the duty assigned him, and that Pa tapsco Presbytery cordially united in said application. Report adopted, and Rev. K H. I'u tups too appointed a committee to preparean overture to he laid before the Synod'sCommittee on Bills and Overtures, expressive of the desire of this Presbytery for said union.
