W. E. Granville Woodrow Ellis Granville, 62, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1976, at 12:50 p.m., in Knopp Nursing Home where he had been a patient for three days following a stay in the Veterans Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 2p.m., in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Milton Bierschwabe officiating. Burial followed in the Harper Cemetery. Mr. Granville was born October 3, 1914, in Harper, the son of Chester William Gran ville and Selma McDougall Granville. He was a rancher. He served in the United States Army and the Air Force which he entered April 4, 1941, and was discharged November 30, 1945. Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Chester Granville, Fredericksburg; Peggy, Mrs. Robert Marko of Tampa, Fla.; Downie and Kathy Granville, both of Fred ericksburg; and three grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Anita. Mrs. Robert Wolfmueller Pallbearers for the final rites were Johnnie Bierschwale, Harold B. Birt, John Lapham, Forrest Green, Robert Wolf mueller and Johnnie B. Mc Dougall.
