Ed Jackson, secretary of State, was elected president of the Cadle Tabernacle Evangelistic Association, at a meeting yesterday. Other officers were elected as follows: Rev. George Savary, pastor of the First Congregational Church, secretary; C. C. Haugher, treasurer; the Rev. M. 8. Smith, first vice president; and Maj. Harle F. Hites of the Volunteers of America, sec ond vice pesident. The purpose of the association is to conduct religious serv ices at the Tabernacle. The association is to be interdenominational in char acter..The board of directors consists of Mr. Jackson, the Rev. Mr. Smith, Major Hites, the Rev. Savary, Mr. Haugher, Merle Sidener, A. B. Cornelius, Leon Joyce, EB. Howard Cadle, the Rev. T. W. Grafton, pastor of the Third Christian Church; James W. Lilly, Dr. Thomas J. Beasley, D. L. Spelcher and James P. Goodrich, ex-Governor of Indiana.
