A. McEwen of Plover and W. A. 1 Elliott returned last Saturday, J from Omaha and Shenandoah where * they had been looking at some Holstein cattle, having purchased twelve heifers to be placed on the ' county farm, it being the intention of starting a diary. This move may be a valuable one for the county, as diary cattle are usually considered more profitable than beef cattle and it might be the beginning 01 Pcoahontas county developing into a first class dairy county and we hope it will.
