Person and Lizzie Boone, Denison Morgan and Janie Thom as, Joseph Bartek and Albina Krahulik, William Ham and Le na lL. Davis, Emmett Kellough and Carrie Johnson. Since our last issue no impor tant cases have been tried in the district court. Lula Williams, charged with murder, plead guilty and was given a life term in the penitentiary. The Collinge vase is set for tomorrow (Friday), and a special venire has been sum moned for that day. The court has appointed Messrs. Henderson Fowler, Moses Cox and G. T. Moore to defend Collins, who is charged with murder. The jury commissioners will meet in Cam ron next Monday to select jurors the spring term of court. The last weeks of the present term be devoted to the considera df civil cases. “The criminal r ocket has been unusually light- Pinckney carried Harris county by about 2 to 1, and got a good majority in the district.
