Leona M.P. McCordLeona Mary Pauline McCord, 69, died at 9:46 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31 at Mid Jefferson County Hospital.She was a native of Lee County and a Port Arthur resident for 67 years. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.Services were to be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Grammier Oberle Funeral Home chapel with Vicar Howard Schriebeis officiating. Burial was to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.Survivors include six daughters, Myrna Leggitt, Dorothy Harvey and Sue Shook, all of Port Arthur, Vernell Johnson of Mundelein, III., Donna Pullin of San Antonio and Rhonda Tucker of Marlow, Okla.; five sons, Dalton McCord and Frank McCord, both of Port Arthur, James McCord of Port Neches, Thomas McCord of Grays Lake, III., and Gordon McCord of Cuero, two sisters, Emma Virgillo of Beauxart Gardens and Minnie Vetters of Port Arthur; 79 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
