ITHACA. — Frederic Andre Paris, 86, of 518 Highland Road, Cayuga Heights, died Thursday at Tompkins County Hospital. Mr. Paris was a consulting engineer with the sugar industry in Hawaii and South America. He fought in Africa during World War I and was a captain in the Royal Kings Rifles. Dur ing World War II he was with the Bureau of Economic War fare in Chili. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hilda Hambling Paris, two daughters,Mrs. Suzanne Mee Cormick of Boston, Mass. and Mrs. Arthur Mizener of Ithaca, two sons, Frederic David Paris of Athens, Ga., and Philip Hub ert Paris of Houston, Tex. Nine grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Witz-Paris of Basel, Switzerland and Mrs. Elizabeth Pris of Williamsport, Pa. services will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Warren Traub, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Wag ner Funeral Home. Victor and the Vanquished Cayuga County Coroner Dr. Max L. Fox, left, congratulated attorney George M. Michaels, right, on his victory as assemblyman, from the 122nd District of Cayuga and Cort land Counties late Tuesday night. Be tween Fox and Michaels are former Mayor Edward T. Boyle and County Democratic Chairman William H. McKeon. Fox conceded the election to Michaels at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday after taking a walk from GOP Headquar ters to Democratic Headquarters.
