Ocean View Plaza, a new s0-unit retirement residence on south Main Street near Cabrillo Highway in Half Moon Bay, is under construction and tenta tively scheduled for completion in mid January. The new facility is sponsored by the Lesley Foundation, in cooperation with ‘the Independ ent Order of Odd Fellows Gereal Ocean View Lodge 143 of Half Moon Bay. The two groups formed the Ocean View Foundation to at tain a direct, $620,000 loan from the federal government for land and ‘building. Within: walking distance of shopping, churches and medical offices, the two-acre Plaza will have four separate: apartment one-floor buildings and a social hall having a kitchen, rest rooms, laundry, office, storage, etc. _No meals or central dining room are provided as all apart ments are set up for complete housekeeping. Forty-two apart ments are for single occupancy, and eight for double.Except for: draperies, carpeting and fully equipped kitchens they will be], unfurnished. Also included will be individu ally controled heating, ade] quate storage, plus a central]’ television system and a phone]’ in the social hall. _Each sit will have an outside porch, living room, dining all cove, bathroom and kitchen, the doubles having separate bed rooms. Rentals: will be $106 per month for doubles and §75 for singles, including all utilities. Coin-operated laundry ma chines will be available, and there will be a $5 per month charge for auto parking. To be eligible a person must be at least 62 years old if single, OF ,and must be 62, in case of married couples or close rela tives. All tenants must be in good health and ambulatory. H .
