These pla- j cards were varied and Interesting j and evidenced some real talent In! the student body.The following awards were announced: First prise, $8, TeaaleMcCurdy: second prise, $2, Evelyn Walker: third and fourth, fl.Lorna 8chwoob and Esther Williams, Further prises were given Frank Waiters and Art Bent for high class work, which although unusual, did not classify with the others. Some■splendid Ideas were advanced In i advertising by these placards and‘ the contest proved a most valuable i \ lesson to those participating.
