Moran Takes Bride. lt;Washington Democrat: Whatcame as a complete surprise to the many friends of the bride was the ยป news that reached this city, Thurs- I day of the marriage of Miss Josephine Kretz, the pretty and popular daughter of Joseph Kretz, to E. F. Moran, formerly of Loogootee but now engaged in the brick business at Deming, New' Mexico. Few of her friends knew that she was to be ^ married and the announcement came unexpected.The couple were married at El , Paso, Texas, last, Saturday and after the marriage they left for Deming, New Mexico, where they will make their home. When Miss Kretz left this city a week ago last Thursday most of her friends thought that she was going south for a few weeks visit. From here she went to St. Louis where she was met by a rela- ; live of Mr. Moran. From St. Louis they proceeded to Aiburcjuerque,New Mexico, where they spent several โ€™ days visiting. Then they went to El Paso where they met Mr. Moran and the wedding was celebrated there r Saturday.I Atone time Mr. Moran was en-. gaged in the brick business at Loo-. gootee and consequently he is well ! known in this city. All who know him speak of him in the highest terms as a business man and otherwise. Mrs. Moran is a charmingXj young woman and she numbers her friends in this city by the scores.
